🔒 Your journal is completely private — only you can ever see it. Anonymous posts in Safe Space are never linked to your identity. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
Haven is operated by Haven App LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Our app provides a mental health social platform where users can share anonymously, journal privately, check in daily, and connect with their community.

Journal entries — including text, voice notes, moods, and titles — are stored in your account and are only visible to you. Haven staff do not read your journal. Journal data is never used for advertising, recommendations, or shared with any third party.
When you post in Safe Space, your username, profile photo, and identity are never displayed to other users. Anonymous posts are stored in our database with your user ID for moderation purposes only (e.g., to respond to abuse reports). We do not voluntarily disclose the identity behind anonymous posts except where required by law.
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Your data is stored using Supabase (our database and storage provider), hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We implement row-level security policies so that users can only access their own private data.
Voice notes and images are stored in secure cloud storage buckets with access controls. Your private journal voice notes are stored in a bucket that is only accessible to your account.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, journal entries, and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days before being purged.

Haven is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.
Haven is a social platform and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact a mental health professional or call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US).
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Haven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
