Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Haven, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Haven.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Haven. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may only create one account per person
• You may delete your account at any time from the app settings

4. Community Guidelines

Haven is built on respect and kindness. The following is strictly prohibited:

Harmful content

• Content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
• Threats of violence against any person or group
• Content that sexualizes minors in any way
• Graphic violence or gore

Harassment and abuse

• Targeting, bullying, or harassing other users
• Sharing another person's private information without consent (doxxing)
• Coordinating harassment campaigns against individuals
• Using anonymous features to evade bans or harass specific people

Misinformation and deception

• Spreading demonstrably false health information that could cause harm
• Impersonating other users, public figures, or Haven staff
• Creating fake accounts or coordinating inauthentic behavior

Illegal content

• Content that violates any applicable law
• Sharing copyrighted material without permission
• Soliciting illegal goods or services

5. Safe Space Rules

Safe Space uses anonymous posting to protect your identity. In addition to the general community guidelines, Safe Space posts must:

• Not be used to target or identify specific individuals
• Not contain content designed to bypass content moderation
• Not be used to coordinate harassment even when posted anonymously

We reserve the right to remove anonymous posts that violate these rules. In cases of serious harm or legal process, we may be required to disclose the identity behind anonymous posts.

6. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you create on Haven. By posting, you grant Haven App LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the app for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you post does not infringe on third-party rights.

Haven may take the following actions in response to violations:

• Remove content that violates these terms
• Issue warnings to accounts
• Temporarily suspend accounts
• Permanently ban accounts
• Report illegal content to law enforcement

9. Disclaimers

Haven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the app will be free of errors. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haven App LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use of Haven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
